As a result of the many issues in the mortgage markets, we regretfully have made the decision to close Heritage Mortgage, Inc. The overall problems in housing and the mortgage markets will pass, however numerous regulatory changes will make it very difficult for us, as mortgage brokers to provide competive services in the markeplace. The very premise of our company was always to put our customers first and to provide a high level of customer service at a competitive price.

    We are thankful for the many customers that allowed us to provide their mortgage services since we opened our doors in Apriil, 1996. The friendships and relationships that have been established will continue long into the future.

    Although Heritage Mortgage, Inc. is no more, company President, Larry Compton remains in the mortgage industry.
